The model repository is an attempt gathers and organizes several models and metamodels.
This is a kind of zoo of models, trying to have an individual of any of the models available in the wildness of our Model Driven world.
Typically a model will be available in several formats (xmi1.0, xmi1.2, xmi2.0, textual syntax, hutn, etc) and conformant to eventually several metamodel (ie. you can write the "same" model using MOF.14, EMOF2, ECore, UML1.x, etc. )

This web application has been developped using a Model Driven tool: Netsilon, whose internal language Xion is an ancestor of Kermeta.
